As of October 1st, the data elements in HMIS have been updated to reflect the new Data Standards released by HUD. The HMIS Intake, Annual Assessment, and Exit forms have also been updated to match HMIS, and are published on our website here. 2015 CoC Dashboard Reports
HUD has released the 2015 CoC Dashboard Report. The report contain graphics depicting data from the Point-in-Time (PIT) count and Housing Inventory Count (HIC), which provide a quick overview of a CoC’s performance in serving homeless individuals with their CoC awards. Check it out here.
211OC Is Hiring
It is with much regret that we must inform the community that Casey Parnis, an HMIS Data Analyst, is no longer working at 211OC.
With Casey’s departure, the HMIS department is currently a little short-handed so please bear with us in the interim while we go through the hiring process.
We are currently seeking candidates for HMIS Jr. Data Analyst and HMIS Data Analyst positions. If you know of anyone qualified, please share the job links.

System Performance Report Submitted to HUD!
The System Performance Report was submitted to HUD in August, and is available for review here. The time period of the report is 10/1/14 – 9/30/15, and includes all projects that serve homeless clients in HMIS, regardless of the funding source. For more information about the report, please check out our September Data Matters Newsletter!
Some highlights from the report:
- Average LOS for ES projects is 36 days.
- Average LOS for ES & TH projects is 118 days.
- Returns to Homelessness within 2 years of PH exit from all project types is 11%.
- Change in total income for CoC funded leavers is 49%.
- Successful exits for SO projects is 4%.
- PH exits for ES, TH, and RRH projects is 39%.
