Reminder: 2022 HMIS Part 2 Recertification
As a reminder, all users whose accounts were created prior to 6/1/22 will be required to complete the 2022 HMIS Part 2 Recertification by January 31st in order to maintain their access to HMIS. Please log into your agency’s Dropbox in order to see a list of the users at your agency that have not completed the required Recertification yet. Required users that have not completed the recertification by January 31st will have their accounts locked until the recertification has been completed.
Agency Administrators must submit the 2022 HMIS Part 2 Recertification Form for their users once the recertification has been completed. Please limit the form to five users or less to ensure a timely response to the submission, and submit any questions to the HMIS Help Desk.

HUD EXCHANGE – From our Partners: Braiding Resources to Develop & Strengthen Partnerships Webinar – January 9, 2023
The Housing and Services Resource Center (HSRC) is sponsoring a webinar on January 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM EST to discuss how state and local systems can develop lasting cross-sector partnerships to increase access to accessible, affordable housing and supportive services for people with disabilities, older adults, and people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Training Objectives
Participants will discover:
- Key connection points and approaches for developing partnerships between community living support service providers and rental housing assistance providers
- Steps to identify and align funding and programs to create a comprehensive service and housing system
- Key components of the partnership development process and lessons learned from other successful models
- Strategies to strengthen and incentivize collaborations over time

HMIS Part 2 Recertification
The 2022 HMIS Part 2 Recertification is now available. Users with Read Only accounts or accounts created (or reactivated due to inactivity) on or after June 1st are excluded from this requirement. Agency Administrators must submit a 2022 HMIS Part 2 Recertification Form for their users.
Please note: Users who do not complete the recertification by January 31st will have their accounts locked until the Recertification is completed.
Continuum of Care Training Opportunities
The Office of Care Coordination, on behalf of the Orange County Continuum of Care (CoC), is offering upcoming virtual training opportunities for service providers and local partners interested in learning more about best practices and available resources to individuals and families at-risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Best Practices for Serving Survivors of Domestic Violence
Interval House and Human Options will collaboratively facilitate a training focused on how service providers can incorporate trauma-informed care and safety planning into service delivery to ensure safe, effective support for survivors of domestic violence.

Accessing Mental Health and Recovery Services – POSTPONED
The OC Health Care Agency (HCA) Mental Health and Recovery Services is providing a training on accessing mental health and recovery resources offered through HCA.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this training is postponed. The Office of Care Coordination will communicate the updated training details once it is rescheduled at a later date.
Employment Support Services
Chrysalis is facilitating a training on employment support services offered through their program, specifically focusing on how to resource service providers supporting individuals working towards permanent housing and overall stability.
